We all know the saying, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, but Las Vegas has evolved from an epicenter of entertainment and nightlife to a destination for fashion enthusiasts. Move over New York, Milan, and Paris–the luxury shopping in Vegas is fierce, with iconic brands like Chanel, Gucci, Dior, Bottega, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Hermes, and Celine. Not only are these brands present in Vegas, but most have multiple locations. Three Chanel stores–yes, please! And, the fashion just isn’t on the mannequins in the windows and behind glass cases, they are being worn by the travelers who are gambling, eating, and of course, shopping. But one fashion exhibit isn’t enough. A must-see is Princess Diana: A Tribute Exhibition in the Shops at Crystals. The 10,000-square-foot experience includes the largest collection of Diana’s authentic evening gowns, fashion garments, and historic royal textiles. The dresses will take your breath away. Diana wore garments from Versace, Armani, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, and Clarks throughout her life, and Catherine Walker was Diana’s go-to designer. And, as a bonus, Princess Kate’s infamous sheer dress is on display, with a replica dress available in the gift shop. Here are a few gowns from the exhibit:

The concentration of luxury brands coupled with unique fashion installations positions Las Vegas alongside Paris, Milan, and New York. Is a Las Vegas Fashion Week coming our way in the near future?
