Halloween is upon us, and we need to find the cutest yet most unique Halloween costume we can. As college girls, many of us want to spend less than one month’s worth of groceries on a costume we will most likely wear for two nights only.
Here’s some cute Halloween costume ideas you can wear this year with items you may already have in your closet.

Pink Panther
Recently, I rediscovered one of my favorite childhood cartoons, and it got me thinking that this icon doesn’t get the appreciation he deserves. Now that animal prints popularity is so back, there’s nothing better than stepping out as PINK panther this Halloween.
Baker
Yes, chef! Pull out any cute, ruffly, checkered piece from your closet and create an easy baker costume. You can even make it Strawberry Shortcake inspired.
Glinda
This one especially goes out to all the theatre kids reading this. The premiere of the new Wicked movie is fast approaching, and Ariana Grnade’s Glinda look lives rent-free in my head. Use any pink dress, grab an inexpensive wand and crown set, and you’re good to go! Not to mention, you can reuse your Glinda look to the theatre this November.
Gnomeo and Juliette
This might be my favorite idea yet, and you can do it with as many friends as you like. All you need is a pair of boxer or bloomer shorts, any colorful vest you can find, and a little hat to top it off. Shout out to Gnomeo and Juliette for this idea.
Midwest Princess
After two outstanding ACL performances, the Chappell Roan craze in Austin is not ending soon! This is a perfect time to go all out and dress like the Midwestern Princess herself. Nothing is cuter than camo with rhinestones and pink ruffles.
Scarecrow
Fall weather is finally upon us in Texas, and you can wear those classic fall staples you’ve been dying to wear, on Halloween. Use as many pieces of denim as you may own and pair them with a straw hat and boot. Finish it off with some simple scarecrow makeup.
