Over the last month, famed R&B singer Beyonce has made her return to the stage after a seven-year-long hiatus. Performing her new hit album, Renaissance, along with her decade-long classics, she has taken the world by storm, showcasing a series of custom-made, vibrant, avant-garde outfits made by the most luxurious designers in the industry, including Balmain, Gucci, Fendi, and Alexander McQueen. Included here are some of her most dazzling and eye-catching looks so far, with crystallized embellishments, risky cutouts, and vibrant metallics.

Here, one of the most iconic looks so far has been her Mugler bee-inspired costume with a matching helmet. Designed by Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader, the look takes inspiration from her “Beyhive” fanbase, with a striking yellow and black body-hugging suit, black leather thigh-high boots, and a complementing chrome helmet. Unfortunately, the bee-themed headset faced an upsetting break during her London show.

The Grammy-award-winning artist has also chosen to don various custom looks crafted by designer David Koma. Known for forming statement silhouettes honoring the feminine form, these looks offer daring and experimental styles, perfect for Beyonce’s recent aesthetics. Most notably, Koma’s design of an iridescent and reflective bodysuit with a corresponding sarong and blazer jacket. She accompanied the look with shimmery over-the-knee boots and a pair of statement earrings.

Alexander McQueen also remains one of the most unforgettable designers that Beyonce has sported throughout the entirety of the Renaissance tour. These looks have been characterized by glittering sequins, metallic silvers, and crystal embroideries, showcasing the brand’s unparalleled technique. For instance, the star rocked the stage in a custom bejeweled and beaded black and silver bodysuit, embodying the disco themes dispersed in her recent album.
With her hit tour far from over, it is evident that the star-studded performer will continue to share iconic and show-stopping looks worldwide. However, one thing is certain: the Renaissance world tour and her incredible and one-of-a-kind costumes will be studied for years to come.
